The manager who still ships code.

I started on the web in 2013 and never left. Most of my work has been on systems that were already carrying people when I arrived: eBay Stores rebuilt from zero, a review site with over seven million monthly visits that had to stay fast and findable, federal government projects with hundreds of thousands of users, and now the live classroom at Nerdy. The exception was Space Adserver, an advertising analytics platform I helped build from an almost empty repository, which taught me how differently a product behaves when you own it from the first line.

I manage the team and I have not stopped being an engineer. I still ship code most weeks, and I enjoy it: managing shows me which problems are worth a week of effort, building keeps my opinions honest. The rest of the job is hiring well, interviewing honestly, and clearing whatever slows the team down.

After hours I run my own experiments: agentic coding workflows, a self-hosted AI knowledge system, and IoT projects that quietly automate corners of my home. Most of what I sell, I tested on myself first.

I lived eight years in Buenos Aires, have worked stretches from Europe, and have shipped with colleagues from more than 15 nationalities. That is why this practice runs in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Along the way I picked up an MBA in Software Engineering from USP, a business degree from Universidade de Brasília, and two Scrum Alliance certifications: Certified ScrumMaster and Advanced Certified Scrum Developer. The business side of my counsel comes from there: I care about what a system costs and earns, not only how it is built.
